METRO WINS AT GIT  
Congratulations to the U16 Metro FC Coraggio Premier Girls for winning the Adidas Copa Red Division of the Germantown Invitational Tournament last weekend. The team went 3-0 and did not allow a goal for the event. The team is coached by Metro FC Girl's Technical Director and Wright State Women's Assistant Coach Greg Sheen. Congrats on a great weekend! METRO FC'S ERIC LYNCH NAMED NSCAA ALL-AMERICAN Congratulations to Metro FC's Eric Lynch for being named to the NSCAA All-American squad. Lynch plays for the u18 Metro FC Rapids coached by Tony Saliba and David Wall. Eric plays high school soccer for Bellbrook HS. Director of Coaching Kevin Arcuri said," Eric is a quality player that has proven to have the ability to score goals and change games with his play. He is a great kid that is truly deserving of this honor." Lynch will be honored at the NSCAA All-America Luncheon at the NSCAA convention in Kansas City this upcoming January. Congratulations Eric! METRO TEAMS WIN AT CASL Congratulations to the Metro FC U16 and U17 Coraggio Premier Teams and the U18 Boys Rapids for winning their Elite Divisions at the CASL Raleigh Showcase this past weekend. All three teams finished at the top of their groups with 2-0-1 records. The u16's are coached by Scott Downing, the u17's are coached by David Wall and the u18's are coached by David Wall and Tony Saliba. Great effort by these fine athletes!

Halle Pyle Named Channel 7 Athlete of the WeekCongratulations to Metro FC's Halle Pyle for being named the Channel 7 Athlete of the Week! Halle is the goalkeeper for the Metro FC Rapids u18 Girls team and also the Centerville HS starting Varsity GK. Halle has been a member of the Metro program since u13 and has verbally commited to play college soccer at the University of Louisville. Congrats Halle! U10 Rapids win the Forest Park STAR tournament
Our Rapids U10 Boys team won the U11 Orange division of the Forest Park STAR Invitational in Cincinnati last weekend. The boys fought hard and defeated KSA Crew 2-0 in the finals . Congratulations to the team!! The boys are coached by Paul Moore. U13 Rapids have double tourney success
Congratulations to the U13 boys Rapids team. This past weekend they won the International Cup Tournament in Cleveland Ohio. The Rapids beat Arsenal FC from Pittsburgh in the Championship game. The boys also won the Mockingbird Invitional last month in Louisville Kentucky. The team is coached by Mike Tracy. Congratualations on a couple excellent tournament wins!! |
