RECREATIONAL SPRING SOCCER

Developmental Program for Boys and Girls Ages 5-10

Fun games and drills for skill development are followed by actual games. Teams are organized by our experienced coaches and reorganized every session giving players an opportunity to experience new teammates and friends.

Schedule – to be determined based on the number of kids in each age group. Sessions will start at 8:30 with older age groups and progress through the early afternoon. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes depending on age group. Parents of Pre-K participants will be asked to stay during the sessions.

Open to all boys and girls that are 5 as of August 1, 2010. Will be boys only and girls only whenever possible.

Place: Delco Park in Kettering

Equipment: Soccer cleats, shin guards, soccer ball (size # 4) and water bottle

Philosophy: De-emphasize the need to win, while maintaining a high level of challenge and instruction. Emphasis placed on foot skills with the ball, general coordination and motor skills, home practice ideas and developing a passion for the game.

How to register – Registration and payment should be done online, you may send a check for payment if desired.

You must create an account if you do not have one already (click on No account yet?) in the user menu.  Then register your child by clicking on the (Rec program registration) link in the main menu. Register early and avoid late fees or getting closed out. Final Schedule will be posted after April 1.
